Patricia
has been doing hair for almost six years. She attended Professional Cosmetology
Institute in Ames and worked at an Ames salon before returning to her hometown
of Des Moines. She's been trained in advanced color under George Alderette and
advanced cutting under Susan Hutchinson. Patricia loves to cut! Patricia holds
a PHD in Eufora organic haircare products, and is a Eufora Elite Team Member,
which is their advanced training certification. Patricia lives with her husband
Jamie and son Beau.
tod sikkema

Tod has been doing hair for 20
years and is a certified Master Colorist through Schwarzkopf. Tod is also an
instructor throughout the Midwest for Schwarzkopf, teaching coloring methods
and techniques. Trained in Eufora, he has received his PHD as well as Elite
team member status. Tod has a wealth of knowledge and creativity and loves to
share his talent with clients. Schedule an appointment with him and see for

As a former retail sales and
customer service associate at Gong Fu Tea, Lynn helped us with our tea menu and
orders for years. She is also a client of Tara's, so it was a natural fit to
have her join us as our receptionist. Lynn is a graduate of DMACC's Marketing
program and will be helping with all aspects of customer service and
advertising at the salon.

Tara has been doing hair in the Beaverdale area for thirteen
years. She joined Salon Utopia as Manager in July of 2006. Tara has advanced
color training in Schwarzkopf color and has attended many classes on color
trends. Tara also has advanced training in new cutting techniques. She holds a
PHD in Eufora organic haircare products and is a Eufora Elite Team Member,
which is their advanced training certification. |

jorgensen
Maija has been a stylist since 2001
in the Des Moines area. Maija is multitalented in our field as she is also a
licensed Esthetician, certified in Microderm Abrasion and a licensed Massage
Therapist. She holds a PHD in Eufora organic haircare products, and is a Eufora
Elite Team Member, which is their advanced training certification.
jennifer pierick >>>
Jennifer is the owner of Salon Utopia, which opened
in July of 2006. She is a licensed Esthetician and will be a part of the Spa
Utopia team. Jennifer is Microderm certified and has taken extensive classes on
body waxing, skin care product knowledge and cosmetic application. In August of
2007, Jennifer traveled to Montreal, Canada to learn IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
hair removal and skin rejeuvenation.

Jami has been creating beautiful looks since graduating Pivot
Point International in Chicago, Illinois. After spending a year in Germany,
learning, working and helping to develop educational programs, she returned to
Chicago to work and increase her skills through advanced cutting and coloring
education. Coming home to Des Moines in 2000, she has continued to provide
excellent service and fresh styles. She is committed to delivering a positive
salon experience and continuing her professional growth. Most recently she has
completed her PHD in Eufora organic hair care products. |
